Tags are one-word descriptors that you can assign to your bookmarks on bloobble. They're a little bit like keywords but non-hierarchical. You can assign as many tags to a bookmark as you like and rename or delete the tags later.Tagging can be a lot easier and more flexible than fitting your information into preconceived categories or folders.
Presentations already have predefined tags to help you find the information you are looking for.
For example, let's take the 2007 State of the Industry presentation from the Consumer Electronic Association. It already has consumer, market and north america as general tags. But you might be interested by slide 20 about CE industry growth and had a tag on it while somebody alse will be interested by the slide 22 about fastest growing products and had its own tag to remember it. You don't have to rely on the designer to provide you with the adequate category. You make up tags as you need them, and use the tags that make the most sense to you.
This is great for organizing and finding personal data. To see the most popular items tagged as sweets, visit our Popular Tags section.
Try it and experiment a bit! There are no wrong tags.
